With the summer wrapping up, we’re entering the fall season with BBQs, fairs, and chances to enjoy the autumn colours — and Lindsay is no exception. We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite fall activities in Lindsay to enjoy in the coming months.

  • 100 Guitar Campfire Singalong | Sep 5 | 5:00pm | Free

    If you’re into live music, campfires, and BBQs, then this event is for you. The 100 Guitar Campfire Singalong invites every guitar player from the Lindsay area to help lead a night-long jam session. This is a great way to wrap up the summer and kick off the fall season.

  • The 171st Lindsay Exhibition | September 13 -21 | $10

    The Lindsay Fairgrounds holds the annual Lindsay Exhibition every fall. This extensive week-long event features a packed schedule with everything from a hotdog-eating contest to a demolition derby. Tickets start at $10 for adults, are free for children (6-17) on select days, and are always free for children under five. Visit their website for the full schedule and list of attractions.

  • Lindsay Farmers’ Market | Thursdays & Saturdays Until Thanksgiving

    One of the longest-running markets in Ontario, the Lindsay Farmers’ Market offers locally grown fresh produce. The market runs on Saturdays in downtown Lindsay, from 7am — 1pm, and on Thursdays at Wilson Fields, from 10am — 3pm. For more information, check out their website.

  • Lindsay Twin Drive-In Theatre | Nightly | 9:00pm | $15

    The Lindsay Twin Drive-In Theatre is a great spot to enjoy outdoor movie showings for the low price of $15, and $5 for children. The showings feature two consecutive movies every night at 9:00pm. Visit their website to see what’s currently playing.

  • Ken Reid Conservation Area | Free

    With mosquito season wrapping up, fall is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors. The Ken Reid Conservation Area features 12 kilometres of forest trails, an off-leash dog park, and a boardwalk suspended over the wetlands. The Victoria Rail Trail weaves through the park, allowing biking and walking access from the Lindsay trail head, Victoria Junction.
